Policing and Crime Reduction Research Map

The College of Policing published the Policing and Crime Reduction Research Map in October 2013 on the College website. Since then, over 600 projects have been submitted from such diverse faculties as Psychology, Chemistry, Language and Communication and even Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering!

The interactive Research Map plots details of ongoing policing-related research at Masters level and above. It is intended to increase opportunities for collaboration, and to enable forces to directly engage with researchers working on topics of interest.

Police, academics, students and research institutes are invited to share summaries of their research which are added to the Map.  This can be done easily with an online submission form. Projects can be filtered by subject, institution or by police region.  When projects are completed, contributors are invited to share final research reports with the National Police Library and the project summaries are removed from the Research Map.

You can regularly check our New projects page for a selection of some of the most recently-submitted research.
