Tackling Violence Against Business Conference

To book please go to https://nbcctacklingviolence.eventbrite.co.uk

The National Business Crime Centre will be hosting a national conference of business, policing colleagues and key stakeholders with the focus of bringing together Retailers, Business Crime Reduction Partnership, Town Centre Managers and Local Authorities with their local Police, to work more collaboratively in reducing violent crime and to discuss common challenges that affect the business community.

Since the introduction of the NBCC the member of national partnerships have grown, as has the challenge of creating safe, vibrant, day and night-time local economies, with less resources. This will be an opportunity to showcase effective practice and learn from the experience of experts and peers with practical advice on how to tackle the ever-changing nature of violent crime in and around business. We would also like to hear from you on how we can together, shape the future sharing resources.

This event is supported by Deputy Commissioner Sir Craig Mackey and the Home Office. There will be input on training, technical and physical solutions, support from the Metropolitan Police Flying Squad, Crime Prevention initiatives and many others.

There will be a marketplace showcasing tactical interventions and a networking opportunity over a buffet lunch. We hope you will be able to join us and look forward to seeing you there.

We have also arranged an input about GDPR as it is a topical issue that will have to be considered when implementing many solutions.
