NFU Mutual Crime Report 2018

Every year rural crime costs millions of pounds and causes untold anxiety across the UK.
Based on NFU Mutual claims data, they estimate rural crime costs the UK £44.5m last year (2017). With an increase of 13.4% on the previous year, rural crime is rising at its fastest rate since 2010.

NFU Mutual share claims statistics and expertise to help farmers protect their possessions, and the police to effectively tackle rural crime. Since 2010 they have invested £1.2m to support schemes designed to reduce crime in the countryside.
