Cyber Griffin

Cyber Griffin

Cyber Griffin is a City of London Police initiative that supports businesses and individuals with a footprint in the Square Mile to protect themselves from cybercrime. The 4 core services are free of charge and provide non-technical, independent advice that focuses on the human element of security. Cyber Griffin services are regularly updated using industry cyber security threat reports as well as information from the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Action Fraud and Police databases to ensure our services are up to date.

WHY CHOOSE CYBER GRIFFIN?

All Cyber Griffin officers are NCSC certified trainers and as part of the City of London Police, the national policing lead for Economic Crime, they are uniquely placed to meet your training requirements. You can utilise their specialist knowledge and expertise to support your cyber security programme. Their trusted and neutral position ensures that their input is solely focused on reducing the likelihood and the impact of cyber attacks in order to protect your business

Their briefings are designed to raise your staff’s ‘baseline’ level of knowledge by providing effective advice to those with little or no knowledge of cyber security.

Whether you have only just begun your security culture journey, or whether your security culture is mature and well-established, the baseline briefing is the perfect way to introduce your staff to the threats and prevention tactics that will help to secure your organisation against cyber attacks.

BASELINE BRIEFING

Their award-winning Table Top Exercise has been developed specifically for the Square Mile to explore the decisions that people make in order to protect their businesses from modern-day threats.

The exercise tests people's response to a range of cyber attacks as well as physical security threats and is the ideal way to highlight how security decisions can impact your business.

TABLETOP EXERCISE

Understanding how to respond to and manage any type of incident is a critical skill for any organisation in order to safeguard against the loss of revenue, reputation, trust, and assets.

Whether you have an existing incident response plan or are in the process of developing one, this session will help you plan and prepare effectively for when it is needed.

INCIDENT RESPONSE TRAINING

Utilising the Cyber Defence Capability Assessment Tool (CDCAT®) tool originally developed by the Ministry of Defence's Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, they are able to assess your organisation's current cyber defences and controls and highlight any vulnerabilities.

The assessment can be aligned to Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or NIST, the report can be used as a good indicator as to your progress towards completion.
